Stress to Be or NOT to Be!!

STRESS! To "Be" or Not to "Be" -THAT IS THE QUESTION!!

It's that time of year again, when those New Year's resolutions we make with such conviction can seem so far away and stressing over all those fading promises we made to ourselves.
We pledged to give it our best this time and never look back.... really loose the weight, stay on budget, finish those projects, leave our comfort zone, and accomplish it all. But then that first crack of self doubt appears, we falter a little, and then one stress leads to another.
It happens to us all. It's worse at night, when we're desperately trying to sleep but our mind just keeps replaying all those negative scenarios, robbing us of the rest we need.
Stress impacts all of us, including me. It can have long-term health consequences - from fatigue to obesity and heart disease.

There is a way you can overcome self doubt and fear, release stress, regain your resolve, and sleep better. There is a way to fully engage your subconscious mind to overcome those negative patterns, and learn to take control of your thoughts, your health, and your future.

How?? By taking deep breaths, and holding it for 30 seconds. Taking time to smell the "roses" {or in my case I Love Tulips!} Then write out a plan of things that need to be accomplished. (Don't worry they don't all need to be done by the end of the next day!) :) Set goals, and take small steps. Realistic steps; that will give you a sense of accomplishment, as you complete each one. Also By having a "Accountability Partner" {someone with "like minded views that can keep you motivated when you get discouraged} That's what this site is all about- let's share our aspirations, and help each other achieve! If you want to be a part of the movement, join in, post: fell free to post your goals, and dreams, and we can help each other reach them! Also to come: Daily recipes, health tips and more!  Stay tuned for more.

The Truth about Living

Every day, we wake up with a new day.  A fresh start to create or recreate our lives. We don't always look at it that way, {we usually wake up and think of our daily routines, work, school, dinner, kids, etc..} But if we really think about it, we have the chance to change things from the day before, the week before, and even the year before. They say it takes 21 days to form a habit...
hab·it (hbt)n.1.
a. A recurrent, often unconscious pattern of behavior that is acquired through frequent repetition.
There are good habits and bad habits. I want to get rid of some old habits of doing the same thing, expecting different results {thats insanity!} And work on some good habits, better eating habits, excersizing, and making better overall choices, one day at  a time!..
O.K. so I want to create a Habit of blogging daily.. It starts today: Sunday, Febuary 24,2013.
